Toy Cars are one of the Top Gifts for a 1 Year Old Boy
This VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Spinning Spiral Tower Playset is one of the best toys for a 1 year old boy. And for the price, it makes the perfect gift. This fun tower sends vehicles racing down one of two different tracks with 4 different levels of fun.
At around 1 years of age is when boys really start to take notice to cars. I think it has a lot to do with the lights, the sounds and of course the motion.
This cool car tower even has a car wash and gas station! It comes with a van but you can purchase other vehicles to go with it. The Van lights up and makes sounds so its fun for your little one to push it down the track and watch it light up and make noises. Different parts of the track also make the van light up and make noise automatically. It’s a really neat toy for a 1 year old.
I am all about teaching my kids as early as possible. But learning can be fun especially with these cool toys for 1 year old boys. These learning toys featured below are my favorite because they cover all aspects of learning for babies and toddlers. Numbers, colors and ABCs.
Bath Toys For 1 Year Old Boys
One of my sons favorite things to do is to take a bath. Like most 1 year olds, he loves to play in the water. We like to have a variety of bath toys for him to play with because toys always makes bath time more fun. This purple octopus is so much fun. He’s got rings that you can throw onto his legs. Another favorite is this fishing pole game which lets you “catch” fish in the bathtub.
If there is only one toy that you buy for your 1 year old, I would recommend the VTech Sit Stand Alphabet train. It’s one of the top selling toys for 1 year old boys and for good reason. It’s so much fun and it grows with your child.
This fun train comes with 10 different activities. That includes a storybook, clock, gears; 13 double-sided alphabet blocks which help teach your 1 year old fine motor skills and introduce them to letters, numbers and colors.
This is a push toy but it’s also for sitting too. There is so much to keep our 1 year old busy on this toy.

Elmo is one of those characters that every 1 Year old boy I know has loved. We got Caleb the Love 2 Learn Elmo Doll for Christmas and this has quickly become one of his favorite toys.
Love 2 Learn Elmo sings 10 different songs, says over 350 different phrases and through a special app you can teach him to say your child’s name. This is a great learning toy for 1 year olds because it sings and talks about numbers, colors, the alphabet and more.
But most importantly Elmo is soft and cuddly. He’s a great friend for your little boy to snuggle up with or carry around.
Cool toys for 1 year old boys don’t have to all be inside toys! These fun outdoor toys featured below are my son’s favorite. We have the blue swing hooked into our swing set and my son loves to go high. And we actually have the Activity garden inside for now because of the weather but it’s so much fun inside or outside.
Power Wheels Batman Quad is One of the Top Gifts for a 1 Year Old Boy!
We got our son Jeremy his first Power wheel when he was only a year old. He LOVED that thing and rode it till it wouldn’t ride anymore. These smaller versions of Power wheels are much easier to handle even for a 1 year old. With just a push of a button they will be driving all over the place.
This battery powered ride on toy for boys features cool Batman graphics, a place for storage in the front and other very toddler friendly features.
The Batman Quad is really easy to drive even for a 1 year old! It only takes a push of a button and they will be GONE. But don’t worry they will only get up to 2mph which is plenty fast for a toddler. For the price, this is one of the best gifts for 1 year old boy.
Best Books For 1 Year Old
Books always make a great gift for 1 year old boys. Babies and toddlers are fascinated by books especially ones that have big bright colors and pictures. One of my son’s favorite books is the Touch and Feel Puppy book which has pictures of cute puppies that he can touch.
Tablets make really Cool Toys for 1 Year Old Boys
Let’s face it, we live in a technology fueled world. So why not get your 1 year old boy ahead with his own tablet. I love having tablets with me in the car because they help keep my son occupied on long drives, especially when there is no one in the back to entertain him.
